fargone is a climbing and riding club in london. we collect as little as we can. this page says what we keep and why.

the email list

when you sign up we keep your email address, the page you signed up from and the time. we use it only to tell you about fargone events and goods. we don’t sell it or share it with anyone else. it’s stored in our own database, hosted with railway.

orders

checkout is run by stripe. stripe handles your card details; we never see them. stripe passes us your name, email, shipping address and what you ordered so we can send it and handle returns. we keep order records for as long as uk tax law requires. stripe’s own privacy policy covers what they do.

events

event sign-ups happen on crahg, which has its own privacy policy. if we take photos at an event, they may appear here or on our instagram. tell us at the event or by email if you’d rather not be in them and we’ll take them down.

email

if you email us, your message sits in our inbox (microsoft 365) for as long as we need it to help you.

cookies and tracking

this site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or tracking scripts. fonts and photos are served from fargone.cc itself.

your rights

under uk gdpr you can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. email hello@fargone.cc and we’ll do it. if you’re unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the ico.
